Nicole Lauerman: Team
Manager –Nicole
is Dennis’ wife. She is a Paramedic for the City of
Alexandria, VA. She has worked for the City for 7 years and is
nationally registered. Fueled by her husbands enjoyment of the
sport, she handles the schedule, traveling arrangements and team
preparations for each race. She is also her husbands biggest
fan. |

Don Short:
Crew Chief –
Don, a retired Firefighter and former
drag racer, is Dennis’ father. He has been turning wrenches for over 30
years. Don oversees all preparations on the racecar as well as all of
the race day activities. The son and father relationship makes a
perfect driver/crew chief match. |

James Walker Jr.: Team
Engineer-
James is an engineer for Delphi and has been developing and racing
Saturn’s for over 10 years. He was a very successful driver in
the ITA class of the SCCA, taking home several wins and making the
Saturn car a force to be reckoned with. He is a mastermind
with suspension set-up and vehicle dynamics. With his
background and knowledge of Saturn’s and racing, he has been a
tremendous asset to the team. |

Rich Stapleton:
Chief Mechanic- Rich is a Saturn Team Member and works for Saturn of
Woodbridge in VA. He has been working on Saturn’s for over 10
years and is completely Saturn and GM certified. Rich is an
excellent mechanic and knows a thing or two about developing
horsepower. He has built his own Chevy Nova hot rod as well as
a complete street rod from scratch for a friend of his. With
his experience and knowledge of Saturn’s, Rich solves any problem
the racecar develops. |

Keith Henke:
Car Chief- Keith is a Lieutenant for the City of Alexandria Fire Dept. and owner of
a Valvoline Express Care in Frederick, MD. He is a very
experienced mechanic and heads up the maintenance on the racecar during
race weekends. Keith is a valued member of the team. He is very
thorough and meticulous with his work, which helps put the driver at
ease when the car goes on track. |

Ella Short -
Ella is Dennis & Nicole’s daughter and is in charge of all the shop and
paddock organization. She is really good at gathering all of the tools
and piling them up in one place. |
