D&N Motorsports Attends Hot Import Nights and NOPI Maryland

Dumfries, VA (May 22, 2006) – D&N Motorsports made their rounds this weekend with the USTCC No. 24 Saturn SW2, making an appearance at the Hot Import Nights show in Atlantic City, NJ on Saturday and then at the NOPI race & show series in Budds Creek, MD on Sunday.

Saturday’s HIN event was an impressive site with thousands of automotive tuner enthusiast storming the Atlantic City Convention Center to see hundreds of beautiful American and import tuner cars on display from all over the country.  Dennis Short, driver of the No. 24 Saturn, was on hand answering questions about the race car and race series.

At the close of the event, the car was packed up and hauled down to Budds Creek, MD for the NOPI XBOX race and show series on Sunday, where it was on display with the GM Performance Tuner Tour cars.  Dennis was again on hand speaking with race fans and car enthusiast about the car and series. “There was a lot of traveling time this weekend, but it was well worth it.”  Dennis explains.  “I really enjoy meeting and being around people that share the same passions that I do.” The D&N Motorsports team will now prepare for the next Hankook US Touring Car Championship race at BeaveRun Motorsports Complex in Wampum, PA.
